R-MC's Lizzy Buckley Named ODAC Swimmer of the Week

SALEM, VA - Randolph-Macon sophomore Lizzy Buckley has been named the ODAC Swimmer of the Week after leading R-MC to a 114-44 league win over Hollins on Saturday.

Buckley (Springfield, VA /Robert E. Lee) took two individual first place finishes in the 50 freestyle (26.30) and the 200 butterfly (2:26.57). The 200 freestyle relay team of Buckley,  Ellie Shea., Virginia Mauch, and  Sarah Almond finished the meet with an exhibition win for the Yellow Jackets in a time of 1:50.79.

Randolph-Macon is currently 2-2 overall on the season and 1-1 in the ODAC.  The Jackets will be back in action on Saturday when it hosts Bridgewater at 1:00 p.m.
