Yellow Jackets' Corinne Campbell Sets Estes Poll
Record in 200 Fly
ASHLAND, VA - Washington and Lee University handed Randolph-Macon College its first ODAC dual meet loss since the 2005-06 season as the Generals scored a 141-60 victory in Ashland Friday night.
R-MC, which now stands at 7-2 overall and 5-1 in the ODAC, was led by Corinne Campbell who set an Estes Pool record in the 200 fly. Campbell's time of 2:14.15 breaks the previous mark of 2:16.46 set by former Yellow Jackets All-American Erin Ewalt in 2004.
W&L (8-5 / 3-0 ODAC) won 10 of 11 events and was led by Susan Mahoney, Tess Hayden and Sarah Simpson who all won multiple events on the evening.
R-MC will return to action on Saturday when it travels to Washington College (Md.) for a 2:00 p.m. meet.
