Megan Calabrese Named VaSID Second Team All-State

NEWPORT NEWS, Va--- Senior Megan Calabrese was named Second Team All-State by the Virginia Sports Information Directors' (VaSID) College Division.

Calabrese was named Second Team All-ODAC for the second time in her career after earning the honors as a sophomore as well.  The Bridgeville, Pa native started all 17 games and scored two goals on the season for the Yellow Jackets.  Calabrese was the anchor of the R-MC defense and scored both goals off penalty kicks.  She continually won balls in the midfield and served as the leader of the defensive unit.
